Every person feels better about doing the things that they do best. Athlete's enjoy practicing the sport they play more if they win at that sport often.
Children are no different. We simply encourage our children to master their current learning level regardless of the child's age. Once the children master one level, we expose them to new levels of learning in fun and exciting ways.
This concept allows our children to feel confidence at each level of learning, regardless of their age. This constant growth and confidence causes our children to have a natural love of learning.
In many environments, children are told what not to do far more than they are encouraged to explore, experiment, expand and experience. It is our desire to keep our children in a completely positive environment.
At Luv' Em & Leave' Em Professional Learning Center, we use a can-do mentality when caring for our children. That means that we show children how to do things in a way that encourages growth, learning and exploration.
We train our teachers to re-direct children and completely avoid negative responses like no, don't, stop, quit, etc. This creates a completely positive environment for our children.
The word curriculum is defined as a group or sequence of courses leading to a desired end, degree or license.
Each class or group has a specific goal or destination. Our curriculum is the navigation system that guides the teachers, parents and students from their current point of development to the desired destination.
N
Our curriculum has been custom built, tried and tested to acheive specific results. Each classroom has specific groups with specific objectives to acheive in a 13 week course before moving on to the next group.
Children receive homework and study assignments related to the curriculum objective they are currently learning. The curriculum is a proven guide to get the children on the best route to acheive academic success.
The Daily Schedule
The Curriculum is the navigation system that guides us to your child's educational destination. The daily schedule is the vehicle that actually takes them there.
Our daily schedule makes educating children like a long road trip in a vehicle with a DVD player and your child's favorite movies.
The daily schedule is used as a major tool in the teaching environment. Children respond better to consistent activities and schedules.
Our daily schedule starts each day with food, fun and fellowship to allow teachers and students to bond each day. Students are then transitioned through several short, fun and exciting learning sessions and activities. By lunch time, the children have seen, done and experienced much more than they realize. At the end of each day, the children are willing to ride (learn) even more instead of saying "Are we there yet?"
Most parents feel that our children are the most important figures in our lives. Stop and consider the fact that you are definitely the most important figure in your childs life. Thats why your involvement and support is very important to us.
Our desire is that you will allow us to assist you in developing your childs potential.
We will provide study material (homework) for your child and reinforce what we send home with classroom drills, games and activities.
We love to hear of any special needs or changes that parents may see. We encourage and request your opinions, comments and concerns in providing the absolute best service possible for you and your child.
In a world full of starters but few finishers, we want our students to learn and know what it means to FINISH the courses of study they are enrolled in all the way to the point of GRADUATION.
For this reason, each year Luv' Em & Leave' Em Professional Learning Center has a large graduation ceremony to honor and acknowledge all of the students that will move on to Kindergarten.
Of the graduating class, a student is selected as the validictorian and encouraged to say a speech before the entire crowd of hundreds of parents, relatives and friends of all of the students in our care.
